Christian’s BIO

  • Colorado native. Started playing golf at age 5 on rubber tee mats and sand greens in Alamosa, CO.  When I was 10, I would tie my golf cart to the back of my bike and ride five miles to the golf course, play a round, then a dip in the pool and back to the course for more golf. What a life!

  • Captain of Greeley West High School Golf Team 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th grades. State competitor all 4 years. My goal in high school was to get good enough grades to make the team.  I lettered for 4 years in golf, 3 years in swimming and 2 years in cross country.  I was awarded the Eisenhower-Evans golf scholarship to CU but it was rescinded.  My older brother received it two years earlier and they could only award one per family...dang!!

  • U.S. Navy Veteran 1968-1972. Vietnam campaign medal and Navy Achievement Medal honoree.
I enlisted in the US Navy...remember the draft?  I wasn't able to take my clubs along to the Philippines, Vietnam, Okinawa or Alaska...oh well!  I was in photo intelligence and communications for an air patrol squadron (VP 47).

  • B.S., Construction Management from Colorado State University.  Boy I had to work hard to get my degree.  I loved architecture and engineering, mostly drafting and CPM.  I didn't have much time or money for golf but I did play one match for CSU.

  • Golf Coach, Heritage Christian Academy, 1999-2008 and now at Resurrection Christian School.  My very favorite job...ever!
